Timothy J. Young (Tim) is a second generation attorney and the senior partner and owner of The Young Firm, based in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has been practicing law for over 28 years, and knew law was his calling from an early age, gaining positive influence from his father who was also an attorney.

After scoring extremely high on his LSAT (45 out of 48!), he went on to Tulane Law School to graduate with honors. He then went on to pass the Louisiana and Texas bar exams in back to back weeks! After starting The Young Firm, Tim focused on injury law because helping people in need has always been a priority. The Young Firm associates good work with helping good people through bad times. Tim Young is the lead attorney working on our Camp Lejeune water contamination cases as well as many of our maritime injury cases.

Tim and his wife love to travel and spend time hiking, skiing and staying active outdoors.  He volunteers his time with Catholic Charities of New Orleans and the Catholic Community Foundation of New Orleans.

Megan C. Misko has been a practicing attorney since 2005, after graduating cum laude from Tulane University. Her law experience ranges from construction, product liability, environmental matters, Defense Base Act cases to now personal injury litigation.

Megan says she left defense work to fight injured workers because she wanted to make a positive difference in people’s lives. This led her to The Young Firm. She finds gratification in helping her clients through undeniable difficult times, to help get them back to normal. Megan maintains an active trial docket including many maritime cases, and she is also overseeing Camp Lejeune claims for our clients.

Joseph B. Marino, III (Josh) received his law degree from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2005. He went on to serve as both a district and federal law clerk before he began practicing law at a prominent New Orleans defense firm. After ten (10) years of representing big companies, Josh decided he’d rather fight to make a positive impact for the individuals who are suffering. 

 His experience and perspective have been a major asset to The Young Firm. He focuses his practice on maritime claims as well as, recently, helping our service men and women and their families who were exposed to toxic water at Camp Lejeune. 

Tammy D. Harris is a senior attorney with The Young Firm focusing on personal injury litigation. She received her law degree from Loyola University School of Law in 2005, and possesses a B.A. in Psychology. This allows Tammy a deeper perspective into the psychological and emotional aspects of suffering a traumatic experience.

Tammy’s clients describe her as compassionate, empathetic, and ready to stand up and fight for what is right, which makes her a perfect fit at The Young Firm.
